Samsung Brings Galaxy AI Features to Galaxy Buds

Live Translation and Interpretation Features Expand to TWS Earphones
Samsung has been steadily expanding its Galaxy AI features, initially debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, to other devices within its ecosystem. In a recent development, Samsung has extended these capabilities to its line of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones.
The latest Over-The-Air (OTA) update released in India introduces Live Translation and Interpretation features to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2, and Galaxy Buds FE. Notably, these features were previously exclusive to the Galaxy S24 lineup but are now making their way to the earphones.
Seamless Integration of Live Translation and Interpretation
One of the key highlights of this update is the integration of Live Translation and Interpretation directly into the Galaxy Buds interface. This means users can access these functionalities without relying on an active internet connection, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
Live Translation enables real-time translation during calls, allowing users to view translated text on the screens of their Galaxy S24 devices while conversing through their Galaxy Buds. On the other hand, Interpretation facilitates two-way, face-to-face translation, enabling smooth communication between individuals using Galaxy S24 smartphones and Galaxy Buds, without the need to hand over the phone for translation management.
Simplified Communication Experience
Samsung emphasizes the user-friendly nature of these features, highlighting the ability for users to speak directly into the microphone of their Galaxy Buds for translation. This enables natural conversations between parties, eliminating the need for cumbersome translation processes and ensuring a seamless communication experience.
The rollout of these Galaxy AI features for Galaxy Buds has commenced in India through OTA updates and is expected to reach other markets shortly, further enhancing the functionality and appeal of Samsung’s TWS earphones.
