Journal App Unveiled

The iOS 17.2 beta introduces the eagerly anticipated Journal app, a key addition announced with the broader release of iOS 17. This app empowers users to document their daily activities and musings, aided by optional prompts crafted by Apple for inspiration.

Adding a Journal entry is a straightforward process, initiated by tapping the “+” button within the Journal app.

Organization is facilitated through automatic date tagging of entries. However, the Journal app goes beyond mere chronology, offering bookmarking options for enhanced accessibility. Furthermore, users can enrich their entries with multimedia content such as images, voice recordings, and location tags.

Messages App Elevates Interaction with Sticker Reactions

In a bid to elevate user interaction, iOS 17.2 enhances the Messages app with Sticker Reactions.

The “Add Sticker” feature allows users to choose between a diverse array of stickers or emojis, applying them conveniently to the corner of an iMessage. This method provides a quicker and more expressive means of responding to incoming messages, surpassing the comparatively static tapback reactions. This enhancement is designed to make interaction more dynamic and visually expressive within the Messages app.
